The depth of knowledge held by the forest dwellers, and innovations and initiatives by Adivasi Munnetra Sangam, Just Change, and ACCORD, are helping the Adivasis of Gudalur create sustainable, dignified livelihoods and gain collective control over their commons, in the face of the modern economy.
